Founder of CORPlaw Announced as Honoree of Prestigious Award
Miami, FL The Daily Business Review (“DBR”) recently announced the honorees for the 2020 DBR Professional Excellence Awards. Among the list of honorees is Mrs. Kristen A. Corpion, Esq., CEO and Founder of CORPlaw, recognized for the On the Rise Award.
The On the Rise Award recognizes South Florida innovators under the age of 40 that display strong leadership qualities in their community and area of legal expertise. A brief look at Mrs. Corpion’s extensive resume, however, brings a whole new meaning to the word “trailblazer”.
In addition to a full-time practice and running her law firm, Mrs. Corpion dedicates her time to improving the legal profession and local community. From serving on the Board of Directors of Legal Services of Greater Miami to dedicating her time leading and training Florida International University’s nationally-ranked undergraduate Panther Mock Trial Team, Mrs. Corpion is passionate about helping the South Florida community thrive. In August 2020, she will be installed as President of the Dade County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section, after six years of service on the Board.
This is a proud accomplishment for not only Mrs. Corpion, but for the firm as well. CORPlaw, which will be celebrating its third anniversary in August, started as a solo practice and since then has expanded to a robust team of five with offices in Brickell. A formal reception to recognize the honorees is expected to take place on October 7, 2020,at the Rusty Pelican in Miami, FL.
